The Landscape Seeder, a bidirectional seeder, is built to handle all turf and landscape seeds. Grass seed is a very expensive commodity. Notched rollers properly place the grass seed in the top 1/2” of a properly prepared seedbed, resulting in maximum seed germination. Seedbed is left smooth and firm with small stones pressed down. Because of this precision placement seeding rates can be reduced up to half of the rates previously used.
Key Features
Follows contour of the ground for optimal seeding and soil compaction, most cheaper units have bolt on solid mounts which require constant adjustment
Front rollers crush soil lumps, press stones, and create a firm seedbed, improving seed-to-soil contact for better germination.
Compatible with both 3-point hitches for tractors and skid steer mounting plates, this seeder offers flexibility for various equipment types.
Notched rollers place seeds at a uniform depth of 1/2 inch, promoting even germination and healthier crop growth.
The seed box includes a sight glass, allowing operators to monitor seed levels easily and prevent running out during operation.
The agitator brake system prevents seed loss when the seeder isn’t in contact with the ground, saving seed and improving efficiency.
This seeder is available in two seeding widths—72 inches or 96 inches—offering flexibility to suit different field sizes and operational needs. These options allow users to choose the right size for their efficiency and coverage requirements.
The seeder features a hopper capacity of either 6.0 or 8.0 bushels, allowing for longer periods of operation without frequent refilling. This large capacity enhances productivity by minimizing downtime during seeding.
